SEF announces 2007 Grant Cycle

The Solon Education Foundation (SEF) is proud to announce our 2007 fiscal year grant cycle. Initially funded through a bequeath by the Irma Zeithamel family, the mission of the SEF is to maximize opportunities for students, staff, and friends served by the Solon Community School District. This year we are again proud to provide up to $5000 in total grant funding (maximum of $500 per award).

The SEF favors educator-initiated grants, seeks projects maximized to offer benefit to a majority of students, and values programs with the capacity to seek matching funds; we will, however, consider all applications that support our mission. The grant application period is open from May 15 to September 15, 2007. We hope to announce successful applicants on or before November 15, 2007.
